Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Using a sharp knife remove the core of the cabbage in order to easily remove the leaves

* Step 2

Once leaves have been removed, wash and drain them well

* Step 3

Cut the leaves into big chuncks

* Step 4

Wash and drain the bulgur well

* Step 5

Cut the onion in pieces

* Step 6

In oil add the onion, fry onion until they turn a golden brown

* Step 7

Add the cabbage, salt and mix all together.

* Step 8

Cover the pot and leave Makmoura on low heat until the bulgur has cooked

* Step 9

In the last stage of cooking add cumin mixing in carefully. Remove from heat once finished.

* Step 10

In addition, you my add a cup of water if needed to assist with cooking.

* Step 11

Serve the makmoura cold. Also a cabbage salad can be served with this dish
