Lebanese_rice_with_cauliflower_and_minced_meat
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Cut cauliflower in medium-sized florets, wash and strain any excess water
* Step 2
In a deep frying pan with vegetable oil, fry cauliflower until golden, then set aside over paper towels to strain any excess oil
* Step 3
In a saute pan, add the ghee and sauté the beef or lamb untill it has cooked & set a side
* Step 4
In a suitable deep pot, coated with ghee at the bottom, we start arranging 3/4 of the fried cauliflower on the bottom then, add 1/2 the amount of meat on top
* Step 6
Add the basmati rice, the cumin and salt to taste
* Step 7
Bring the pot to a boil then cover & simmer for 25-30 minutes on low heat until the rice has fully cooked and is fluffy
* Step 8
When ready to serve, flip the pot over the serving dish. Garnish with the remaining meat & cauliflower.
* Step 9
Serve hot next to you’re choice of salad or refreshing yogurt
