Taro
Taro root is a starchy root vegetable originally cultivated in Asia but now enjoyed around the world. It has a brown outer skin and white flesh with purple specks throughout. When cooked, it has a mildly sweet taste and a texture similar to potato.🍠💚
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Peel the taro and wash it very well.
* Step 2
In a pot, boil the taro till the sticky substance comes out.
* Step 4
In a pan, pour the vegetable oil and cook the taro till reddish color appears.
* Step 5
In a pot, put the taro and cover it with water, add the olive oil, chilly spice (optional).
* Step 6
Keep it on low heat, stir every while.
* Step 7
In a pan, cook the onion untill it turns golden brown,
* Step 8
Then add the taro, parsley, mint, and salt.
* Step 9
Stir the mix till all ingredients are well combined.
* Step 10
Served cold or hot as desired.
