Lemon doughnuts

Ingredient

1 pinch

salt

1 tbsp

lemon rind

3/4 cup

milk

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix the dry ingredients, add in the molten butter and the egg yolks and rub in. add in the milk and make a nice dough. let it proof till it doubles in size and a sweet yeast aroma. 30 minutes will be enough.

Dust your work surface and roll out to the dough to half-centimeter thickness and cut into doughnut shapes. (save the middle sections of the doughnuts) let them proof a second time for like 15 minutes.

* Step 3

In a medium-high heated oil in a deep frying pan, gently dip the doughnut cuts and let them fry till golden brown on both sides. do not overcrowd them. do this for the rest of your dough.

* Step 4

Remove from oil and place in an underlined container

Serve with your fav drink
