Simer daana ar aloor torkari(flat bean seeds and potato sabji)

A Bengali dish,one of my favourites,goes well with rice and chapatis.The taste is similar to kaala chana(Bengal grams).An easy peesy recipe.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and clean bean seeds thoroughly
* Step 2
Slice potatoes, dip in water and keep aside
* Step 3
Wash and Chop coriander leaves and keep aside
* Step 4
Make paste of onion, garlic and cumin seeds
* Step 5
Heat a kadhai add oil then add the onion garlic paste and saute well until the masala leaves the oil.
* Step 6
Now add bean seeds, potatoes and green chillies and saute well for 4-5 mins.Dont add water at this stage.
* Step 7
Now lower the flame add little water and allow it to cook until the seeds and potatoes get tender.
* Step 8
Sprinkle chopped fresh coriander leaves before serving,goes well with rice as well as chapatis.
