Sabudanna vada is a traditional snack of Maharashtra.Deep fried and served with spicy green chutney and Sweet peanut dahi chutney.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and Soak Sabudanna in little water for 3-4 hrs. It will swell. Spread it out on plate to dry for some time. Mix little salt to it.
* Step 2
Roughly mashed potatoes,add all the spices to it mix well.Add the sabudanna and form into a dough.If it is not binding then add bread crumbs. Make balls, flatten them.
* Step 3
Heat oil in a kadahi. Fry the Sabudanna vadas in hot oil till brown and well cooked. Keep the flame medium to high.
* Step 4
Serve with green chutney and Sweet dahi peanut chutney.And kokam sharbat.
* Step 5
For Sweet dahi peanut chutney...take handful peanuts, coarasely grind in a blender add 1/4 cup dahi 1/4 tsp sugar pinch of salt and blend for few seconds.,and it is done.
