My Pumpkin-Walnuts Dessert

An easy recipe for a delicious and  humble dessert.

Preheat your oven to 176C. Rinse off the pumpkin. Cut off pumpkin lid. Use a knife to stab outer shell a few times, to allow for ventilation. Then place the pumpkin in a glass baking dish and transfer the dish into the oven to roast for about 45-60 minutes. The duration for roasting depending on the size of the pumpkin.

Meanwhile, melt the butter in a saucepan, add crushed walnuts, sugar and cinnamon and fry for 2 minutes. Set aside.

Once the pumpkin is roasted, Let to cool down, Use a spoon and scrape out the seeds. Cut pumpkin into slices but do not need to separate the slices (as you see in the photos).

Fill centre of pumpkin with fried walnuts and sprinkle some icing sugar top of it.
