Besan chilla

#boxweek5 It is a simple and healthy pancakes made with besan. It can be served in breakfast as well as can be served as evening snacks also.

Ingredient

Cooking time :

1 cup

besan

1/4 tsp

cumin seeds

as per taste

Salt

5 tsp

oil

as required

Water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a bowl add besan, cumin seeds and salt.

* Step 2

Now add water and make a smooth batter, let the batter rest for 15 minutes.

* Step 3

Now add onion, tomato, ginger, green chilli and coriander, mix well to get flowing consistency batter.

* Step 4

Take a non-stick pan or tawa, brush oil on tawa, pour a ladle full of batter on pan and spread it.

* Step 5

Let it cook on medium flame, now flip and cook other side.

* Step 6

Besan chila is ready to serve hot with sauce or chutney.
