California Farm Rose Hip Syrup
Bring summer to your winter breakfast with Rose hip syrup on your pancakes, crepes, hot breakfast cereal, or yoghurt, or in your tea. One maple syrup size bottle is enough for a winter. The Vitamin C in rosehip syrup is gone after nine months.

1 hour prep, 2 hours simmer
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Boil 1 cup of dried rosehips in 2 cups of water till rosehips sink, about half an hour.
* Step 2
Run through foodmill with fine mesh to separate the boiled soft flesh from the hard seeds. Taste for natural sweetness.
* Step 3
Add cup of water and 1/2 cup of cane sugar, simmer rose hip flesh till thickened to syrup, as thick as maple syrup, from 2 1/2 cups to two cups, about an hour. Pour in pint glass bottle with reclosable cap. Good for nine months before the Vitamin C has evaporated.
