Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Chanacooking:. Soak chanaovernight to 8 hours. Drain and cook them with water, a pinch of soda and turmeric. You can cook on a medium heat in pressure cooker or boil them in a pot.
* Step 2
Making dry channa : heat the pan with oil add cumin and chilli. Let them splutter.
* Step 3
Add Ginger garlic paste and saute quickly to remove the raw smell. Add the cooked channa.
* Step 4
Add garam masala, salt, turmeric and red chilli powder. Mix well. Saute for a minute. Any left over water from the cooked chickpeas can be poured and evaporated.
* Step 5
Transfer dry chanato a serving bowl.
