Carrot Oatmeal

Carrot Oatmeal

Oatmeal is helpful in weight loss as it keeps you fuller for longer and is packed with soluble fiber, therefore try to incorporate it into your diet. But eating this in moderation is more important. Do not load your oatmeal with extra sugar or too much of nuts and fruits as it will increase it's calories intake and the whole point of eating healthy breakfast goes in vain. Ingredient

Cooking time :

10 mins
1/2 cup

oats

1 tbsp

honey

1 tsp

cinnamon

1 tbsp

Yoghurt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Into pan, add oats, milk, carrots, honey, raisins, vanilla extract and cinnamon and mix well. Let it boil once on high flame and then turn the flame to lowest.

* Step 2

Keep stirring the oatmeal on low flame so that it do not stick to bottom of pan.

* Step 3

After approx. 5 mins the desired thick and creamy consistency is reached, at this point turn off the flame.

* Step 4

Transfer it into serving bowl and garnish with some pumpkin seeds, Yoghurt and carrots shred.
