Punjabi dal tadka with salad and roti

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash the dal and add it in pressure cooker along with water and salt to taste pressure cook until dal is nicely cooked.
* Step 2
Heat ghee in a pan add chopped onion fry until slightly brown add ginger garlic and tomato and cook for 2-3 minutes.
* Step 3
Now add red chill, turmeric powder and mix well Now add cooked dal simmer the heat and let the dal cook for 5 minutes.
* Step 4
For tempering heat ghee in a pan small pan add jeera let them crackle for a few seconds add red chilli and pour the tempering over the dal.
* Step 5
Garnish with green chopped coriander leaves.
* Step 6
Serve hot with roti and salad
