This is a traditional recipe from my mother's kitchen slightly tweaked by me to suit my family's taste and health preferences.

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash the amla clean. Chop them and remove the seeds.
* Step 2
Add coconut, amla, green chillies to a mixer jar and grind it
* Step 3
Add curd and salt and grind to a slightly coarse paste. Do not add water now.
* Step 4
Add a coconut oil tadka with mustard seeds, jeera, methi seeds, hing, dry red chillies and curry leaves.
* Step 5
Serve with rice and dal or Rasam. Also tastes superb as accompaniment with curd rice.
