Pizza Spaghetti Casserole

Pizza Spaghetti Casserole

I used to make this for the kids when they were teenagers with bottomless pits for stomachs. I jokingly referred to myself as the fill up station. The best thing about this recipe is you can add or leave out toppings to your liking.

Ingredient

30 minutes
1 (16 ounce)

package spaghetti

1/2-1 lb

sausage

1/2 cup

milk

24 ounces

pizza sauce

1/2 teaspoon

garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon

oregano

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9x13 baking dish.

* Step 2

Cook spaghetti as directed on package to al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water. Place in baking dish. I do not break the spaghetti in pieces.

Chop your onion and pepper.

* Step 4

Brown your sausage breaking it into small pieces as it cooks. Drain.

* Step 5

Whisk egg, milk, garlic powder, oregano and 1/4 cup Mozzarella together in a bowl. Pour over the spaghetti.

* Step 6

Pour pizza sauce over the spaghetti, gently mix to coat the spaghetti. You may need more or less sauce depending on your taste.

* Step 7

Add the peppers, onions, sausage, and pepperoni to top of spaghetti.

* Step 8

Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.

Bake for 30 minutes until cheese is browned and bubbly and veggies are cooked.

* Step 10

Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting.

Serve this by itself or add garlic bread and salad.
