Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash and soak rice for 15-20mins.

* Step 2

In a vessel boil water,add rice and yellow mithai colour.

* Step 3

Cook 90% of rice,strain extra water,add sugar, green elaichi cover and keep on slow flame.

* Step 4

Mix it with the back side of the spatula...so that rice grains do not break.

* Step 5

After 10 mins keep Tehri on pre -heated tava for 5 mins or till sugar water is completely dissolved.

* Step 6

In a small sauce pan heat ghee saute badam,pista till golden in colour.

* Step 7

Pour this on Tehri

* Step 8

Garnish with coconut pieces.

* Step 9

Serve hot with ghee, Aloo Bhaji.
