Almost every Indian restaurant and any family hosting a party in the house in Northern part of India serves these along with the food.

Ingredient

2 tablespoons

vinegar

1 tablespoon

sugar

as needed

salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Boil and cool the water

* Step 2

Peel onions and wash under water.

* Step 3

Using a knife make a cross over the onions.

* Step 4

In a vessel or bowl mix all the above ingredients.

* Step 5

Adjust the taste, next day.

* Step 6

Transfer this to a sterilized bottle.

* Step 7

Mix the pickle every day.

* Step 8

Pickle will be ready in 2 days.

If onions get over add few more in the bottle.
