Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Take all the flours add the sugar. add the zest of 1 lemon. Add the cardamon powder
* Step 2
Add lemon juice and the ghee. Make a soft dough. Add more ghee if needed.
* Step 3
Make small pedas and make indentation on them and place some sliced pistachios
* Step 4
Place the cookies in the refrigerator for 30 mins. Preheat the oven at 165 The Celsius and bake the Nankhatais for 15 to 20 mins.
* Step 5
The bottom of the cookies will turn golden. We need this colour and texture. Do not bake further. The cookies will have some beautiful cracks too.
* Step 6
Enjoy the tangy cookies with your evening tea
