Potato idli / Alu idli

#week1to5 These idllis are super soft , nutritious, healthy and deliciously flavoured with potatoes .Enjoy these with coconut or peanut chutney.

Ingredient

2 pcs small size

Potato

2 pcs medium size

Green Chilli

1 small bowl

Sooji/semolina

sachet

Eno -1

to taste

Salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Grind potato and green chilli, till it becomes a paste.

* Step 2

Drop the paste in a bowl. Add suji /semolina and curd,Mix it well.

* Step 3

Take the idlli mould. Grease it with cooking oil.

* Step 4

Coconut chutney recipe: 1 cup grated coconut,1/4 teaspoon tamarind paste, roasted chana and urad dal,1/2 cup water, or as needed,2 green chillies, coarsely chopped, small inch ginger,1/2 teaspoon salt, as needed.

* Step 5

For the  tempering: 1/2 tablespoon coconut oil, or olive oil1 teaspoon mustard seeds,1/2 teaspoon urad da,4 to 5 curry leaves,2 Kashmiri red chillies, optional
