Paneer Tikka

#reststyle Make restaurant style Paneer Tikka at home with this easy recipe. Paneer tikka is an Indian appetizer made from chunks of paneer marinated with yogurt and spices and then grilled until charred. It is a popular dish that is widely available in India.

Ingredient

250 gram

paneer

3/4 cup

curd

2 tablespoon

gram flour {besan}

1/4 teaspoon

red chilli powder

1/4 teaspoon

carom seeds

1/2 teaspoon

roasted cumin powder

1/2 teaspoon

turmeric powder

1/2 teaspoon

chat masala

4 tablespoon

oil

to taste

salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Slice the paneer into 1-inch squares.

* Step 2

Halve the onion and remove each layer one by one. Diced the capsicum into a square shape.

* Step 3

Keep the veggies and paneer aside.Heat a pan and roast gram flour for 5 minutes.

* Step 4

Add 2 tablespoon oil and roast again for 2 minutes. Now add turmeric powder and mix well.

* Step 5

Keep aside for let them cool. Take a bowl and add curd and red chilli powder, carom seeds, roasted cumin powder, lemon juice, and salt, chat masala and mix well.

* Step 6

Add roasted gram flour mixture and mix well. Add paneer cubes, onion cubes, and capsicum cubes and mix well. Leave it for marinating for 30 minutes

* Step 7

Thread a piece of paneer by following onion and capsicum on a skewer. Grease a pan with one tablespoon oil. Place the prepared paneer tikka on the pan and cook on a medium flame till they golden brown from all sides.
