Palak Paneer

Palak Paneer

This is an authentic vegetable dish served with Roti , Paratha, Nan.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Blanch spinach and put it into cold water. Grind spinach and prepare purée.

* Step 2

Heat pan, add oil, cumin seeds, green chillies, ginger, garlic, onion, little salt and sauté till onions are translucent. Add turmeric tomatoes, cashews and 1/2 cup water. Cook till tomatoes are soft. Cool this masala.

* Step 3

Grind the cooled contents of the pan to prepare the masala for vegetable.

* Step 4

Add butter in a pan and fry paneer and remove in a dish.

* Step 5

Add one tbsp oil to the pan and some butter. Add ground masala. Cook for two minutes. Add spinach purée and cook for five min on slow flame.

* Step 6

Now add fried paneer, 1tbsp cream and cook for a minute.

* Step 7

Remove into serving bowl. Garnish with cream.

* Step 8

This vegetable can be served with roti,nan, paratha or jeera rice.
