Choc. Chip Brioche Rolls Bread Pudding

Choc. Chip Brioche Rolls Bread Pudding

Did not add Butter, so a Bread Pudding rather than a Bread and Butter Pudding and I did not bake the Bread Pudding with a sprinkling of Demerara Brown Crystal Sugar over the top, so lower in Calories, but still nice too eat. I made the Recipe up - I got advice from the Internet concerning the baking time of the Bread Pudding

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Place 2 Pints of Pasteurized Cow Milk in a saucepan and heat through on the hob on the lowest simmer with the saucepan lid on and keep near the stove too prevent the milk from boiling over

* Step 2

Separate the egg yolks from the egg white's. Add egg yolks too a large Mixing Bowl whisk with a Dinner Fork and then add the 200g of Caster Sugar whisk again with the Fork and then gradually add the hot boiling milk over the top whilst continually whisking with the Dinner Fork

* Step 3

Line dampened Baking Parchment Paper over a large Roasting Tin and then place all the Chocolate Chip Brioche Rolls - apart from 2 - inside the lined Roasting Tin and then pour the partially cooked Custard over the top of the Chocolate Chip Brioche Rolls and then allow to rest for at least 30 minutes (I rested mine for 5 hours)

* Step 4

When about too bake the Bread Pudding - preheat the oven to Gas Mark 4. Then use a small sharp Knife too cut the 2 Chocolate Chip Brioche Rolls in half down the middle and then slice down the 2 insides. Sprinkle the caps of milk over the top of the uncooked Bread Pudding and then place the dry squares of Chocolate Chip Brioche Rolls over the top and then bake in the oven for 1 (One) hour
