Creamy Tomato Pasta

This Creamy Tomato Pasta (Spaghetti al Pomodoro) is a simple vegetarian pasta with a tomato sauce with garlic. It is very easy to make and perfect if you want a quick dinner that is delicious and satisfying.

Ingredient

500 g

pasta

1-2 tbsp

olive oil

4 cloves

garlic

To taste

Salt & Pepper

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cook the Pasta according to the package instructions in salted water until al dente.

* Step 2

In the meantime, make the sauce. Heat the oil in the pan and sauté the garlic for about 1-2 minutes.

* Step 3

Add the tomatoes and the tomato paste. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes or till desired consistency is reached. Season with salt, pepper, italian herbs and a bit of sugar.

* Step 4

When the pasta is done, drain and add the sauce, tossing to combine.

* Step 5

Serve your pasta with dollops of cream cheese, oven-roasted tomatoes, roasted pine nuts, fresh basil or any topping you prefer.
