Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Grease 1.2 litre (2 pint) pudding basin with a sheet of greaseproof paper. Spoon jam into bottom of basin.
* Step 2
Prepare the sponge mixture by creaming method and place in basin.
* Step 3
Cover with pleated greaseproof paper and foil and steam for 1 hr 30 mins. Serve with custard
