Ingredient

Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Boil the lentils for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. And soak in a covered pot for 1 hour.
* Step 2
Rinse and drain the soaked lentils. Fill pot with cold water and bring to a boil. About 4 cups of water.
* Step 3
Add the carrots, and simmer for 5-10 minutes.
* Step 4
Then add the garlic-olive oil-salt and pepper.
* Step 5
Add the new potatoes with skins (cut in 4), or russet potato chunks
* Step 6
Add vegetables according to cooking times
* Step 7
May add some parmesan cheese.
* Step 8
And add the green peas, at the last 5 minutes.
* Step 9
In a pot, with enough water to cover the vegetables. Simmer for 30 minutes.
* Step 10
Serve with French bread and mozzarella cheese. May add more olive oil.
