Plum cake

Ingredient

3/4 cup

sugar

1/3 cup

water

6 tbsp

butter

1/3 cup

sour cream

1 tsp

vanilla

1/4 tsp

salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Grease a pie pan and place plums cut side down in it

* Step 2

Heat water and sugar over medium heat without stirring til caramel and immediately pour over the plums

* Step 3

Preheat oven to 350°F

* Step 4

Cream butter and sugar. Then add eggs one at a time.

* Step 5

Mix in sour cream, lemon zest, and vanilla

* Step 6

In another bowl mix dry ingredients and then add to butter mixture. Mix until just incorporated

* Step 7

Pour over plums and spread evenly. Bake for 30 to 40 min.

* Step 8

Let cool for 15 min and invert onto a plate
