Penne with sausage and broccoli rabe

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Cook broccoli rabe in boiling water until just tender, 4 to 5 min

* Step 2

Rinse rabe with cold water and set aside

* Step 3

Cook pasta until aldente

* Step 4

Cook sausage in a skillet

* Step 5

Add shallots and garlic to pan cook until tender

* Step 6

Take 1 1/2 cups of pasta water and add to skillet heat to boiling

* Step 7

Drain pasta and add to the skillet. Stir in rabe, parmesan and salt and pepper. Serve
