Mumbai' pav bhaji' πŸ…πŸ§…πŸ§„

A famous street food from Mumbai city, it's a snack or Chaat it's made with fresh vegetables, spicy, delicious meal for vegetarians, are rich with healthy vitamins, minerals, Enjoy.Cuisine : indian, Course: snack, Diet: vegetarian, Nutrients value: vitamin A, B, C,E, K, calcium, iron, folate, zinc, potassium.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

First boil all the vegetables πŸ₯•πŸ₯”(cauliflower, french beans, carrots, potatoes πŸ₯”, cabbage), cut fresh green capsicum πŸ«‘ into cubes, keep aside. Mash boiled vegetables and keep aside.

* Step 2

Heat ghee, a pinch of asafoetida, ginger garlic paste πŸ§„ saute for a few minutes, add finely chopped onions πŸ§…, allow the onion to turn translucent pink, add finely chopped green capsicum πŸ«‘ and mix well, add finely chopped tomatoes πŸ…, salt πŸ§‚ mix well, when ghee comes out from side, add Mumbai ' pav bhaji' masala, finely chopped green chillies, red chillies powder 🌢️, coriander & cumin powder and mix well, add fresh peas.

* Step 3

Add turmeric powder, garam masala powder, cumin seeds, cloves, dry mango powder πŸ₯­ and mix well, add mashed vegetables πŸ₯•, let it simmer for 6-8 mins, then add boiled & mashed potatoes πŸ₯”, cook for 9 mins, remove from heat.

* Step 4

Add in serving dish and add freshly squeeze lemon juice πŸ‹, And keep aside, if desired add 2-3 tbsp butter on top.

* Step 5

For pav/ bread buns: heat a pan, add butter/ oil 🌻, slice the bread buns from the center and place them facing inwards, turn them around in a min and let the outside turn golden brown. Garnish 'bhaji' with chopped coriander leaves 🌿, lemon wedges πŸ‹, slices of onions & tomato πŸ… if desired, serve hot with toasted 'pav'/ bread buns.
