Happy new year dessert, simple and easy to cook for family members to enjoy. course: indian sweet dessert, Diet: gluten free, vegetarian, nutrients value: vitamin A,E,K and minerals: potassium, calcium, magnesium and phosphorus.

Ingredient

Cooking time :

45 mins
1/2 cup

sugar

3-4 tbsp

cocoa powder

2-3 tbsp

ghee

3-4 tbsp

milk powder

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash & clean carrots πŸ₯•, pat dry on kitchen towel and grate it well, keep aside. Heat ghee in a wok, add grated carrots πŸ₯• cook for 5 mins on medium low heat.

* Step 2

Add milk πŸ₯› and mix well, cook until all the milk πŸ₯›, milk powder, no lump should be from and all the liquid milk is dried out, add sugar mix well.

* Step 3

Add cocoa powder, vanilla extract and mix well, check if sugar givens out water πŸ’¦ cook on medium low heat, till dried out, stir always after adding sugar.

* Step 4

Remove from heat and let it cool, remove halwa in a serving dish and garnish with sliced almonds & black currant and serve.
