🐟 fish pulao and okra ratia

In my country pulao, is made with chicken,mutton, etc, but fish pulao is only found best and made in people's homes, street fish pulao are good but the fish they use to make is low in flavour.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Marinate the fish with salt, and lemon juice, black pepper powder keep for 30mins, then add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and 1/4tsp kashmiri red chillies powder to give fish little good looking.

* Step 2

Shallow fry the fish, until it's cooked, keep aside.

* Step 3

For okra ratia: cut okra into small pieces, take a small pan, heat oil, add cumin seeds, when change in colour, add okra and saute.

Add salt, 1/8 tsp black pepper powder and mix, check when okra is tender, remove from the heat, let it cool.

* Step 5

Take a bowl and add yoghurt whisk until smooth, add green chillies paste, roasted cumin powder, black pepper powder and mix.

* Step 6

Add cooked okra and mix gently, for tempering: heat oil add mustard seeds, when start to crackle add asafoetida, green chillies cumin seeds stir, add curry leaves when change in colour, pour tempering on yoghurt and okra ratia is ready, sprinkle roasted cumin powder, kashmiri red chillies powder, chopped coriander leaves.

* Step 7

For pulao: heat oil, add whole spices wait for min, add sliced onions 🧅, cook until golden brown, add ginger& garlic paste stir.

* Step 8

Add chopped coriander leaves, black pepper powder, coriander & cumin powder mix.

* Step 9

Add pulao masala and mix, add in uncooked 🍚 rice and mix, add water, salt, chicken cube and mix, add 1/4 tsp kashmiri red chillies powder mix, boil

* Step 10

Cover and cook on low heat till rice is well cooked and water dries up, serve hot decorated with fried 🐟 fish, fried potatoes, chopped coriander leaves and okra ratia.
