Savoury Clafoutis with Mushrooms

‘Clafoutis’ is one of the desserts that I often make. It is absolutely easy and delicious. I use a variety of Fruit, but often use Cherries OR Ripe Pears. The other day, I came across a ‘Savoury Clafoutis’ that looked like a quiche. That inspired me to make this ‘Savoury Clafoutis with Mushrooms’. Same as sweet ‘Clafoutis’, it is absolutely easy to make.

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 Servings *I used 22.5cm Pie Dish
1/4 teaspoon

Salt

1/4 cup

Plain Flour

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven to 180℃. Butter a pie dish. *I used 22.5cm Pie Dish

* Step 2

Clean Mushrooms and slice, cut into smaller pieces OR tear into smaller clusters.

* Step 3

Melt 20g Butter in a frying pan over medium heat, cook Mushrooms. Add Garlic, stir for a few minutes, and season with Salt & Pepper. Arrange them in the prepared pie dish.

* Step 4

Place Eggs, Cream, Salt and Pepper in a bowl, mix with a whisk, sift in Flour and mix well until smooth. Add melted Butter and combine well.

* Step 5

Pour the mixture over the Mushrooms, sprinkle with some Thyme leaves, and bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
