Broccoli in Cream Sauce

I have GOT to up my veggie game. I’m getting lazy. You can only eat so much corn, green beans, and peas in rotation. The hubs suggested a few things. I bought some frozen broccoli. There has to be more to broccoli than just steaming. This was prepared, baked, and bubbling in 30 minutes. It’ll be a repeat offender. Only bigger.

Ingredient

30 minutes
1 1/2 cups

heavy cream

2 tbsp

butter

1/2 cup

grated parm

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven to 375. Steam broccoli according to package directions.

* Step 2

Spray a small casserole dish and a put the steamed broccoli in it. Salt and pepper the broccoli.

* Step 3

In a saucepan, add the cream and butter and heat on med/low. Add salt, 1tsp garlic powder and stir until combined. Add the mozzarella a little at a time stirring between additions. Add a tbsp of parm and stir, don’t let it boil.

* Step 4

Pour cream mixture evenly over broccoli. Sprinkle panko and parm over the top and drizzle olive oil over the top. Bake until golden and bubbly, about 20-25 minutes.
