Hot Rolls
This is the recipe I found 15 years ago in a charity cookbook I got. Those cookbooks are like the Dead Sea scrolls. Anyway, I had to rearrange it a bit to make it work for me. It can be made in a variety of different pans with add ins and toppings from sweet to savory. Keep in mind this is bread so it’s not overly sweet. I’ve used it in desserts and as dinner rolls and slab bread. It has a million uses.

Mix all your dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Melt your first 4 tbsp of butter in another small bowl or cup and whisk the egg into it. When yeast is ready, poor into your dry ingredients and pour in the melted butter and egg mixture. Stir well to combine.

Spray a muffin tin or use cupcake liners. Fill cups 3/4 full and bake for about 20-25 minutes.

When they come out of the oven, baste the tops with the melted honey butter.
