Cashew chicken with egg fried noodles

This recipe is adapted from one I found on a website called The Recipe Critic. I love the original recipe. It I added my own twist to the actual recipe. If you love Asian food then you will love this recipe! :)

Ingredient

Cooking time :

30 minutes
3 tablespoons

cornstarch

1 tablespoon

olive oil

4 tablespoons

hoisin sauce

4 tablespoons

rice wine vinegar

4 tablespoons

tomato sauce

2 tablespoons

chili sauce

2 tablespoons

honey or sugar

1 teaspoon

chili flakes

2-4 packs

noodles

1/2 cup

soy sauce

1 teaspoon

sesame seeds

60 g

Cashews

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a large bowl, mix together the cornstarch and pepper. Add the chicken and toss to combine.

* Step 2

Heat the oil and fry the chicken till golden brown and crisp. Do this is batches for best results.

* Step 3

In a small bowl or cup, combine the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, tomato sauce, chili sauce, chili flakes, honey or sugar, garlic and ginger. Stir to combine. I added half of the cashews now, and half at the end.

* Step 4

Pour this mixture over the chicken in the pan, and reduce heat to a simmer. Set aside in a serving dish.

* Step 5

Boil noodles for 3-5 minutes. Drain the water and add noodles to a clean pan. Make a well in the middle of the noodles in the pan and add the beaten eggs, let sit for 1 minute then scramble with the noodles.

* Step 6

Serve with baby pak choy and enjoy! :)
