Super loukoumades!

Super loukoumades!

Loukoumades (traditional Greek dumplings) that are fluffy and full-bodied not full full of air and bubbles!

Ingredient

2 cups

tepid water

1 pinch

salt

1 packet

dry yeast

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Place all the ingredients in a bowl adding the flour last.

* Step 2

Use as much flour as is required to achieve a thick batter that when you pour a tablespooon of it it should stay a bit firm but also retain an elasticity.

* Step 3

Cover the bowl with a towel and let the batter rise well.

* Step 4

Heat some corn oil well in the frying pan.

* Step 5

Using a spoon that you have dipped in oil so that it doesn't stick, take spoonfuls of the batter (they are like small balls) and drop them into the hot oil.

* Step 6

If you like, place them on kitchen paper for a while after you take them out of the frying pan.

* Step 7

Serve hot with kind of topping that you like!
