Kalamarakia stifado

Kalamarakia (calamari) stifado (Greek traditional stew with onions), a dish that is easy, quick and tasty!!!

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 άτομα
1/2 cup

oil

1/4 cup

red wine

3 cans

calamari

1 tsp

salt

1/2 tsp

pepper

1 cup

water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Rinse the calamari well and sprinkle some lemon on top.

* Step 2

Place the oil in a pot and after chopping the onions add them to the pot to sauté for a while.

* Step 3

Add the wine, the salt, the pepper, the bay leaves and the oregano.

* Step 4

Grate the tomatoes and add them to the pot, then add the water and the tomato paste.

* Step 5

After the sauce has cooked for a while add the calamari and let it cook for 10 minutes.
