Potato Bhajis

Who doesn’t love fried food?

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix all the ingredients together with cold water into a smooth batter

* Step 2

Heat the oil

* Step 3

Once hot, add 2 teaspoons of the oil to the batter and mix in the bicarbonate of soda until a froth forms on top

* Step 4

Dip each slice of potato into the batter and carefully lower into the oil turning frequently ensuring the potato cooks thoroughly on a medium heat

* Step 5

Serve with a coriander dip, as per previous post. Add Greek yogurt, a little cumin powder and salt to taste and stir into a dip texture

* Step 6
