Lamb stew dumplings 🍲

With the cold coming in,this comfort food will surely warm you up

Ingredient

Food ration :

1 1/2 cups

frozen mixed veg

1 tsp

dry herbs

2 cups

flour

1/2 tsp

salt

1/2 cup

cold water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a pot fry the onion with the herbs till onions are brown, add the meat pieces, garlic and ginger, braise for 10 mins. Add little water and let the lamb cook for 30 mins letting it brown on both sides. Add the potatoes, mix veg, salt and pepper powder according to your taste. Add little more water and cook till potatoes are half done, make sure there's enough water as the dumplings will soak the gravy.

* Step 2

Prep the dumplings by adding the ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt and cold water) together, make sure dough is stiff, not runny. Add the bisto powder mixed with water and dumplings dough. Cover the pot and seal tight, so air doesn't enter. Cook for 30 mins on med heat then check the middle with a knife if dumplings are done.
