Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Wash and cut the pumpkin into medium sized pieces.

* Step 2

Pressure cook pumpkin for 1 whistle. Soak tamarind in warm water and extract the juice.

* Step 3

Roast the ingredients to grind until golden brown and grind everything into a fine paste.

* Step 4

Soak peanuts n warm water for 10 minutes

* Step 5

In a pan add oil when it is hot add Mustard seeds. When it splutter add red chilli, hing and curry leaves.

* Step 6

Add the cooked pumpkin, tamarind pulp,,raw peanuts grinded paste. Add turmeric powder, salt,hing and Jaggery

* Step 7

Mix well, boil for a few minutes till the raw smell of the tamarind goes off and becomes thick consistency. Goes well with hot rice, Pongal and dosa.
