How to make Ragi Curd Rings Recipes
Ragi Curd/ Yogurt rings are one of the most relished snacks in Karnataka. Crispy on the outside & soft from inside. usually these rings are made from rice flour, but today I'm showing you the ragi rings which is delicious then the rice flour rings.These are made of ragi flour, curd/yogurt, cumin seeds, green chillies and other ingredients. Curd / Yogurt Rings can be made quickly & Serve as evening snack with a hot cup of tea/ coffee.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
In a pan heat 1 cup of buttermilk for that add finely chopped ginger, green chilli & coriander leaves, salt, asafoetida mix well bring the mixture to boil.
* Step 2
Now add Ragi & rice flour let it cook for a minute & mix well without no lumps, then add 1tbsp of oil & let the mixture cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
* Step 3
Transfer the mixture into the bowl & Knead well with the wet hands. Form a ball shape dough, & let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
* Step 4
Pinch a small sized dough & roll a thick rope furthermore join the edges to form a ring shape.
Once the oil is hot deep fry the rings flip the sides & fry till it turns crisp.
* Step 5
Finally serve Ragi curd rings with chutney or sauce.
