Raw Banana Fritters

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Take gram flour + rice flour + chilli powder + asafoetida + cooking soda if using + orange food colour + salt+ ginger garlic paste in a mixing bowl.Mix all nicely, add water gradually and make a medium thick batter. Mix it well, ensuring there are no lumps in the batter. The batter should be not too thick nor too thin.

Put oil in a deep pan and place on high heat. Once the oil is hot reduce the heat to medium. Dip each sliced raw bananas into the batter evenly from all sides. Slide it into the hot oil.

Deep fry until crisp and light golden brown from both sides. Remove excess oil from fritters. Place them on absorbent napkins to absorb excess oil. Serve fritters hot with tomato sauce, coconut chutney, peanut chutney and green chutney.
