#Father This is a traditional Amritsari Dessert Recipe made with Milk And rice.This is similar to the kheer but it is thick and in creamy form.Here I have used custard powder to thicken this.You can make this flavorful by using other flavors.This is simple and very yummy dessert.I hope you Will like this

Ingredient

1 litre

milk

2 tbsp

rice

1 cup

sugar

1/2 spoon

custard powder

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Firstly soak rice in water for half an hour. After that drain out the water and grind it to form a coarse paste.

* Step 2

Now take a large kadhayi and boil milk for 5 min.Stir occasionally.

* Step 3

Now add coarse rice paste gradually in milk and stir it while mixing the paste.It might form lumps.

* Step 4

When the milk is reduced to half and rice is cooked. Then take a a small bowl and add custard powder in water.Now add this custard powder water in firni..and cook this for 5 min well. Now add sugar and cook sugar well.

* Step 5

Firni should be thick and creamy. Add dry fruits.Our firni is ready..

* Step 6

For serving take small bowls add firni and keep these bowls in fridge. Serve chilled.
