Golpapdi /Sukhdi

#goldenapron2 #Gujarat #week 1 Golpapdi is a traditional Gujarati sweet dish made from wholewheat flour, jaggery making it a healthy mithai option. Great to be served during festivals or even as dessert after a meal.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Melt the ghee in a non stick kadhai, add the wheat flour and saute on a slow flame for 15 minutes or till it turns golden brown in colour, stirring continusly.

* Step 2

Remove from the flame and add the coconut,nutmeg, cardamom powder, jaggery mix well.

When the jaggery melts and the mixture is still warm, pour it into the greased thali and spread it evenly with the help of the flat spoon.

Cut into square shape while still warm and garnish with poppy seeds.

Golpapdi is ready to serve.
