Golpapdi is a traditional Gujarati sweet dish made from wholewheat flour, jaggery making it a healthy mithai option. Great to be served during festivals or even as dessert after a meal.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Melt the ghee in a non stick kadhai, add the wheat flour and saute on a slow flame for 15 minutes or till it turns golden brown in colour, stirring continusly.
* Step 2
Remove from the flame and add the coconut,nutmeg, cardamom powder, jaggery mix well.
* Step 3
When the jaggery melts and the mixture is still warm, pour it into the greased thali and spread it evenly with the help of the flat spoon.
* Step 4
Cut into square shape while still warm and garnish with poppy seeds.
* Step 5
Golpapdi is ready to serve.
