Kokum rice

This my innovation made by me.all ingredients are healthy.

Ingredient

Food ration :

4 people

Cooking time :

500 gms

Rice

5 pieces

Ko kum soaked

2 ltr

Water

100 gm

Curd

2 tbsp

Ghee desi

As Per Taste

Salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Boil the rice 90% using 2 ltr water & 1bsp salt, boil it at high flame for 5 mins then slow the flame for 5 mins then drain the water & spread the rice on the plate.

* Step 2

Take a pan to add ghee let it hot add cumin seeds and cracks it add onion saute it add whole spice.

* Step 3

Now add curd and cook it for 1 min. Add kokum & rice stir it & roast it for 2 mins.

* Step 4

For good taste add 2 tsp homemade malai, add salt If needed sprinkle some water & lid the pan for 10 mins on the slow flame.

* Step 5

After 10 mins remove the flame.

* Step 6

Now open it & sprinkle the coriander on it.

* Step 7

Serve it hot with some pickles and enjoy it. kokum gives it a sweet & sour taste.
