Jiffy-Dogs

The hotdogs curled up and some I added grated Parmesan cheese and I won't use Parmesan cheese again.

Ingredient

1 pound

hotdogs 8

1-1/2 teaspoon

granulated onion powder

2 tablespoons

honey

As needed

water

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Mix the egg and a little water, onion powder, garlic, and honey. Heat the oil. The water usage should be minimal. You really want this batter tight.

* Step 2

Split the hotdogs lengthwise but not all the way through. Dip into the batter. Make sure the batter is tight. Then fry turning as needed.

The darker ones I used grated Parmesan cheese I didn't really like it.
