Basmati rice in beef stock

I served this with my shooters sandwich

Ingredient

Food ration :

8 servings
2 quart

beef stock

1 quart

water

1 1/2 cup

Edamame beans

1 1/2 tbsp

saffron oil

1 tsp

turmeric

1/2 tsp

ground cumin

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a pot boil your beef stock

* Step 2

Add your rice bring to boil add turmeric and saffron oil

* Step 3

Add water and Edamame let cook add water if you need, after liquid is almost gone see how tender the rice is. Add more water if not done.

In a pan add oil and stir fry the vermicelli pasta till browned add cumin. Add salt to taste

I had left over beef leftover from the shooters sandwich so I sliced thinly layed it on top. Cover, let sit 25 -30 minutes undisturbed. Serve hope you enjoy!
