Duck gravy

This was part of a Thanksgiving feast for the children I teach at church the class is based in Medieval time period

Ingredient

Food ration :

8 servings
1 large

duck neck

1 medium

duck gizzard

1 medium

duck heart

2 quart

water

1/2 cup

flour

1/2 cup

butter

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Boil the neck heart gizzards In the water add spices make a broth

* Step 2

Pull duck meat off bone chop up the heart amd gizzard add back to broth for gravy

* Step 3

Add butter and flour to a saucepan cook together incorporate well when done add broth

* Step 4

Cook well don't let thicken too much now you have gravy
