Bottle gourd scrambles / Dudhi Bhujiya/ Lauki ki bhurji
Full of lots and lots of benefits this Lauki is used in Ayurveda as a medicines as it increases immunity and helps in weight loss. Cooked with very basic tadka and few spices adds flavor to it.
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
Wash and Peel the bottle gourd (lauki) then grate it.
* Step 2
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and let them crackle.
* Step 3
Finely chop onion, tomatoes and green chilies.
* Step 4
Add onions to the pan. and cook over medium heat until translucent.
* Step 5
Once onions are done, add tomatoes into it. Stir occasionally. Cook for about 2-3 minutes.
* Step 6
Reduce the heat to low and add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well.
* Step 7
Add green chilies and let it cook for 30 seconds.
* Step 8
Add bottle gourd to pan and mix well.
* Step 9
Let it cook for 5-7 minutes.
Switch off the flame and Lauki/ Dudhi bhurji is ready.
