Khaman Dhokla
Cooking instructions
* Step 1
First sieve the besan and keep aside
* Step 2
In a bowl take water sugar haldi powder citric acid salt and oil and mix well
* Step 3
Now slowly slowly add besan and mix well
* Step 4
Keep it aside for at least one hour
* Step 5
After one hour take a dhokla pan add water and let it heat up place a grease plate on top
* Step 6
Now take baking soda and baking powder
* Step 7
Add soda and baking powder and 3 tbsp water in the batter and mix fast and properly
* Step 8
Pour the batter in a grease plate and bake for a 20 minutes
* Step 9
Mean while take pan and heat it up
Add 1 tsp oil once oil is heated add cumin mustard seeds and green chilli and curry leaves once they crackle add 1 glass of water and boil for few seconds
* Step 10
Once the dhokla is cooked let it cooled down for a few minutes
* Step 11
After that pour the water mixture on top slowly and garnish with the coriander leaves
* Step 12
Your soft and spongy khaman dhokla is ready enjoy as a starter or side dish with chatuny
