Chocolate Buttermilk Pound Cake

When there’s a hankering for some chocolate and buttermilk pound cake, ya mix’em together ! This is a very tender and moist pound cake. It is so delicious.

Ingredient

Cooking time :

55 minutes
1-1/3 c

buttermilk

1 tsp

vanilla

2-1/4 c

sugar

2-1/2 tsp

baking soda

1 tsp

salt

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

Preheat oven to 350*. Grease and flour Bundt pan, then spray with nonstick spray with flour in it. Set aside.

* Step 2

In bowl, mix eggs, yolk, buttermilk, oil & vanilla until combined.

* Step 3

Sift together all dry ingredients, add slowly to bowl on low speed, pour in hot water while slowly mixing. Once water is completely combined, continue to mix on low for 1 minute.

* Step 4

Pour cake batter into prepared pan & bake 45-55 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.

* Step 5

Remove from oven. Let cool 10 minutes inpan. The place on rack to finish cooling, invert from pan cool completely.
