Spicy creamed spinach

Hot, creamy side dish with that little kick of heat. So tasty that it makes you want to eat your spinach.

Cooking instructions

* Step 1

In a large pan, saute the onion, garlic, red pepper flakes in butter.

* Step 2

Whisk in flour.Saute 3 minutes to cook out raw flour taste and add a golden color.

* Step 3

Whisk in half and half, bringing to a boil.

* Step 4

Keep gently wisking until starts to thicken. Reduce to low heat.

* Step 5

Now add the cream cheese, salt, nutmeg

* Step 6

Stir in spinach and half of cheese. Mix well. Add more half and half if it is to thick.

* Step 7

Best served Hot with sprinkled remaining half of cheese and fresh ground pepper.
